Documentary record · Updated 20 August 2026

Authorship and editorial process.

Lilian Suvac is the human author of MAYBE and The Invisible Epidemic. The books' concepts, arguments, narratives, characters, structure and creative decisions originate with the author.

Creative authorship

The author created the central ideas, story, characters, arguments, structure and final creative direction of both books.

Documented provenance

  • Original Romanian manuscripts are retained.
  • Sequential drafts and revision files preserve the development history.
  • The English editions follow a documented translation and editorial lineage.

Limited editorial tools

AI tools were used only for limited spelling and grammar correction. They were not used to generate the stories, characters, central ideas or structure. The English translations were produced through human translation and author-led review.

Evidence, not impressions

A style that an AI can imitate is not evidence that AI created the work. Authorship should be assessed through provenance, drafts, source manuscripts and accountable creative decisions.

Interpretation standard
“AI-compatible style” must never be confused with “AI origin.”

Automated detectors and stylistic impressions may raise questions, but they cannot replace documentary evidence. This record states the author's process precisely and can be supported by the retained provenance archive when a legitimate publisher, competition or rights partner requires verification.

Factual record retained for publishers, competitions, rights partners and verification requests.
